Planting of Maize for both domestic and commercial use

Maize (/ˈmeɪz/ MAYZ; Zea mays subsp. mays, from Spanish: maíz after Taíno mahiz), known in some English-speaking countries as corn, is a large grain plant domesticated by indigenous peoples in Mesoamerica in prehistoric times.

At the farm we plant about 20-40 acreas depending on the season and labour availability as sometimes the rains can flood some areas that the seed may fail to germinate or grow properly.

Maize is harvested and stored in traditionally built granaries to dry better as well as serve as a collection point.
